Agent declares C.J. Mosley out for Senior Bowl

Former Theodore High School standout C.J. Mosley's next step toward pro football likely will be Alabama's Pro Day or the NFL Scouting Combine, not the Senior Bowl in Mobile on Jan. 25. A two-time consensus All-American linebacker at Alabama, Mosley won't play in the Senior Bowl, his agent said.

True, and very sad. I know a lot of people were really hoping that AJ and CJ would play. I understand that there is an injury risk, but it's still disappointing.

True both.  As a kid in Mobile, we looked forward to the Senior Bowl.  It was all that Mobile had in college football (after Alabama stopped playing there).  Now it's a shell of its former self!
