Even if the officiating had been decent, Vandy still would have won. That's what happens when a team of upper-classmen plays a young team.

Great point. They are playing 4 seniors and a junior while we play 4 freshmen sometimes. Wow.

The only bright spot is that the guys were playing for a little pride at the end.

Jeez, Tony Mitchell was 0-13 shooting.
Yep, Mitchell kept throwing up long 3s.

Officiating aside, I agree that Vandy would have won the game.  The charging calls certainly took the wind out of the Bama offense, and kept the momentum squarely on the Vandy sidelines, but Bama's shooting was still terrible, and Vandy's defense was terrific.

Hankerson was playing sick.  Anyone else under the weather for the Bama team?  They did not look like themselves.

I refuse to talk about this game. I am moving on to Kentucky on Saturday. I want to see us play well and give ourshelves a chance at the end of the game. It will be tough but Kentucky can be beat. We should be a ticked off and danderous team right now. The bright side is our schedule gets much easier after Kentucky.

Toni Mitchell has got to grow up. He pouts on teh sideline like a 3 yr old. Lasy night the camera was on him while he  was on the bench and he had that hang dog look on his face. When someone put a towel on his shoulder for him to use he threw it off like a petulant child. He has a serious attitude problem. He looks to me like a quitter.

Looking ahead to Kentucky may have been the Tide's problem last night. Shooting 30% (TM and TR) didn't help. Figure the difference of shooting 30 v. 50% on a 60 shot night may mean 24pts. This all started with the loss at MSU. Angry

WOW!

So that is why he threw up those 2 long bricks at the end of the game, to try to at least get on the board.
