Took the afternoon off yesterday (from fishing), and drove to Yellowstone Lake.
Good decision; saw 2 bears and 2 bull elk (see photos on other thread).

Met a bunch of nice people again yesterday.  A couple from Amsterdam chatted with me and cheered my fishing efforts.  We had some good laughs.

Hope your day is a good one.  I'm heading back to the river!

Well suppose to a warm one today and this weekend is suppose to be downright hot. Just enjoy and jump in the river to cool off. RTR!

Wow Montana. That is the place we have talked about moving to several times but never made it happen. I also found out last night at church that there is a young man from Ranburne where I went to school that is going to North Dakota State to play football. I thought that was kind of cool. Dog gone it, I forgot his name but I will try to find out again and report it. have a great day and everybody be careful. RTR!

Ha, it's more than kind of cool up there, it's downright cold.

Playing hooky really paid off today! I shot a 78 and struck the ball like I haven't, in a long time. If I could have putted, I could have been in the low 70's. I had 6 makable birdie putts and only made 1. Chech's success has been an inspiration.

Then you should score in the low 70s today.  I caught some biggie Rainbow Trout yesterday.

I'm back at Hebgen Lake (Montana) today.  The wind drove us off the lake yesterday, but not before I caught some fine fish.  Hopefully the wind subsides a bit today.
