I hope it isn't as bad of an injury as it seemed it could be, at his age this could threaten his career. He had pitched probably his best game of the season and he will be badly missed if he can't return. Sad

Woke up (in Asia) and checked the box score and thought it was a good game.  Then I saw a friend's post on Facebook and went to check out the video... just ugly.  I fear he's finished for the season if not longer.

What a shame for a very good pitcher and the Braves post season hopes. I have never seen a pitching staff suffer so many injuries, it's just incredible.

It was an ugly injury.  I hope he's able to come back.  Despite being a Brave and ex-barner, I've always like how he plays the game.

That was just a nasty injury. I really hope Tim can come back from this. I heard today that the Braves (and O's) had scouts at a White Sox game scouting Jake Peavy.

I would think the Braves have put a hurry on getting some pitchers after losing 2 starting pitchers within 10 days. They lost their entire outfield, 2 starting pitchers and their first baseman in the month of July, that's some tough luck.

I think that makes at least the second game that the Os have been watching Peavy.  He's pitched pretty well this year...I had him on my fantasy league team for a while.
