Good morning.

Excellent golfballing on TV yesterday.  Michael Thompson proved his metal as an Alabama man by holding off a dozen golfers who pushed him down the stretch.  His final-hole birdie was icing on the cake.  Woot.

After LF and I took our 3-mile walk for exercise in the heat yesterday (ugh) I mixed some cement to patch cracks in our driveway.  The cracks were there for years, but after the driveway was power washed they became an eyesore.  That's what happens when you clean -- it looks worse than before!  LOL  Anyhow, I mixed up cement and filled in the bad spots.  The driveway is 30-years old this year, so no surprise.  When we walked the neighborhood we saw that most every driveway has cracks as bad or worse than ours.  It happens!

Excellent recruiting news yesterday.  Bama finally got that big DT they've needed.  We now have 3-4 5-star recruits in line for next year.  Woot.

Life is good.  Happy Monday.  Dancing

That's an oxymoron to us working folks, Chech.

I probably need to patch up the cracks in my driveway in P'cola as well. That house is 31 years old. I'll put it on my to-do list. Heading home this weekend for my grandson's 11th birthday. Mrs 2 and I will also be celebrating our 39th anniversary.

Where did the time go?  Huh?

Indeed, where did the time go?  Our anniversary is in 2 weeks.  Maybe the 36th (?).  Anyhow, I held out a couple of years longer then you.  LOL

Gotta get a gift I suppose.  Any ideas?

Good idea.  Do they come in pink or lavender?  Need one for her too.

Good morning folks.  I'm working from home for 1/2 the day today then taking half day of leave.  The middle daughter is supposed to get here to spend her week's vacation here plus Mrs. Nalt has to take her mother for chemo so I'm staying home with the boys.

Chech, "round" is still a shape isn't it?

RAIN EXPECTED BY NOON TODAY!

Jumping

Yesterday was hot and dry, so I mixed up more cement and finished filling in cracks in the driveway.  I also took a package to the UPS Store.  It was a spotting scope lens that arrived broken, and even the packaging inside the shipping box was damaged (it had been damaged before shipping).  But it was bought via Amazon, so returning it wasn't difficult.  The bastid who sold it should be shot (NALT, you available?).

Today it's another walking morning (sweating and climbing hills), then back home.  Time to start organizing for the next trip west.  BTW, word arrived today of a bison kill near the wolf dens in Yellowstone.  Yesterday 2 grizzlies battled with wolves for the carcass.  I've gotta get there asap.
