Hope he takes advantage of this.

Quote
Former Alabama running back Trent Richardson is expected to sign a free agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens pending a physical, sources told AL.com.

Richardson, a Heisman Trophy finalist as a junior with the Tide in 2011, was out of football last season, just three years after the Cleveland Browns selected him with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.

Bet he had a deep, soulful meeting with Ozzie Newsmen. 99, where you at? What's the word in Baltimore?

 Huh?

I had heard that Shaun Alexander was working with Trent. I hope it's true and I hope he has him pointed in the right direction.

Whoa, hadn't heard that. Hope it's true. Plus, TR is supposedly in T-town working out with Coach Cochran.

Hopefully he has learned a lesson and matured some. I would have never thought he would have ended up the way that he has. Sad

Well, Trent has officially done it but he still has a long way to go.

Quote
Richardson had an unofficial agreement in place with the Ravens hinging on the former first-round pick shedding weight and showing up to the complex in shape on Monday.

With that box checked, Richardson has a shot to revive his career after sitting out last season following a summertime release by the Raiders. Sporting an uninspiring 3.3 yards per carry over 37 starts, the former Alabama star has been a comprehensive disappointment at the NFL level.

Trent grew up in a really bad neighborhood in Pensacola where Emit Smith grew up.  Emit was able to break those chains but unfortunately even the influence of one of his best neighbors, a guy commonly known as 2Stater, Trent hasn't done so as far as anybody knows so far.  Hopefully his continued associations with the good guys in Tuscaloosa recently have helped him shake off some of the negative Klingons of his past...

I hope the Ravens offense, with Harbaugh as coach, is more suited to TR's playing style.
