I went fishing with my nephew in Virginia yesterday. Here's a 6# bass that snapped up a Tiny Chugger (topwater bait). We threw him back. Nice catch, Chech! In my 20's, I used to practice catch and release with various females. Then I chomped down on a circle hook that Wifey cast out and the rest is history.

Mitchell, if he comes back, needs to show hustle to go along with that talent. Showboating for dunks isn't going to get it either. He has the tools to be a complete player, but it's up to him to do that, and he needs to do it with a positive attitude.
All our young guys this year showed flashes of good play, but "stinky thinking" cost them too many games. Next year they need get that 6 inch space between their ears more focused on making shots instead of being afraid to miss them. We really need one more "skilled" big man. Gueye has injury issues, which costs him experience to be a good player, and Engstrom, IMO, will never be an offensive weapon. We need somebody to spell Jacobs where there isn't such a steep drop off in talent.

I think that's gone final at 7-4. The site that I'm looking at has it at the top of the 9th with the bases loaded for Bama and 1 out, but it has been like that for 30 minutes and the inning box score is showing an "X" for Arky's bottom of the 9th. I know we're pretty good at hitting into DP's with the bases loaded, also, so I'm just guessing here.

NC State to Sweet 16. Mark Gottfried and Wolfpack by 3.
Gottfried's first season at NCS and they are in the Sweet 16. The guy can coach. I still prefer CAG, better recruiting, more team hustle and better defense. But I've always maintained that Gottfried was a pretty good coach too -- as a former point guard great he can draw up some offense, and Bama won some of those close games in his coaching days. CMG's achilles heel was always defense with Bama. As you mentioned, he was a good offensive coach, but boy, did Bama stink on defense, particularly his last couple of years. I wish him well at NC State.

Click here for linkBest start > Luginbill's take -- Florida and Alabama are way out front. The differences are quantity and quality across the board. Alabama has focused on running backs, receivers, offensive and defensive linemen and tight ends. Florida has a couple of premier running backs and some big commitments on the defensive front. "Top to bottom, as far as talent is concerned, these two are a cut above," Luginbill said. Luginbill also said Auburn is the biggest surprise in how well they've recruited so far. We'll give 'em a surprise party at BDS in November.

I can't believe they are even considering naming the stadium after him at this time. Maybe 10 years from now but Paterno's name may get worse as details come out during the trial.
Exactly!! After the trial of the pervert Sandusky, it wil probably more than 10 years. This trial is going to be ugly, perverse, and disgusting, especially when we find out how many people were enabling this child molester. Just watching Sandusky give an interview and talking about how he was "teaching" boys how to clean themselves in the shower makes my skin crawl. I thought he was planning to off himself after his "visit" with his Grandkids but nothing so far. Also I am somewhat convinced he thinks he is fooling everyone with the "just wait until we can cross examine witnesses and supposed victims." The only other explanation for his insistance of innocence is they are hoping to get plea bargain offers from the prosecution by threatening a long and expensive public fiasco. Sandusky is a sick, disgusting child molester who really believes he did nothing wrong. He was helping these boys to grow up. That's how these sick perverts mind work. I have been around these sick low-lifes for many years due to my years of working and dealing with them in the law enforcement world. He sees himself as their mentor. Like I said, he is one sick puppy. The more time passes the less I think of my suicide idea by Sandusky. Early on I'd have bet money. You may be right that he feels he father figured the boys, which makes me ill thinking about his own kids and the complicity of his wife. The suicide may come about a week after he goes to prison. He will not like the way they treat him there.Suicide has a nickname in prison. He's called "Bubba". Sandusky will eventually be "Dahmered".
