Broken record, but IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY AT THE LAKE.  Almost no wind and almost 80 degrees (after a cool start of 38).  I caught 13 trout; 2 browns and 11 rainbows.

Forget to mention that last night we set up a friend's telescope and saw the rings around Saturn.  This afternoon a family here from Germany asked if D would set it up again.  SURE!

Thursday August 22:

Even though the wind started blasting before noon at the lake, the hay was in the barn.  I had 9 trout already, and some nice long, fat ones.  Not a great day for pics (overcast), so I took only 2 pics.

Yes I do.  They have TV here now, and a waitress at the Buffalo Bar (sports bar) is from Florence, AL.

Friday August 23rd:

What a great day today.  The temperature range was 35-69, and almost no wind or humidity.  Just perfect for fishing.  I caught 25 trout, mostly big ones (4 brown trout; 21 rainbows).  Just a lovely day at Hebgen Lake!

Saturday August 24th:

Okay you jerks   I went into the park today just to show how easy it is to photograph wildlife.  Here ya go:


I saw 6 SIX grizzly bears.  Here are 2 of them eating a dead bison.


Here are 2 of the grizzlies after the sun came up.  Half a mile away.
