I think you missed the thug play by one of our freshman on the D-Line who did some sort of wrestling move and slammed their player to the ground.  Other than that, they ran the ball 3 times and took a knee on 4th down, then we took a knee on 1st down to finish running out the clock.  That is the only game I can remember where both sides took a knee to finish off the clock.

And yet another great analysis, Coach. I was worried about what would happen with the weather delay. Bama totally had their way with Mizzou, up to that point, but I figured Mizzou would spend that time making adjustments, They did and they did it well. With the exception of the special team breakdown that gave them a TD, I thought the team weathered it pretty well. My only concern was that their receivers seemed to be open often. As you mentioned, we were fortunate that many of the passes were dropped or off target. All in all, though, I think it was an impressive win. I just hope that AJ is ok, as well as the Missouri kid that was carted off the field at the end of the game.

This isn't the first time we've been outscored in the third quarter, I think. Sort of strange considering how well Bama's coaches repair things during the half.

Totally opposite from many of the games last year, where we got off to a slow start, only to run amok in the 2nd half.

I just checked the box scores and Michigan, Ole Miss, and now Mizzou all outscored us in the 3rd.  For the other 3 games we shut them out in the 3rd and either scored 3 or 7.

ESPN has a picture of Fannings tackle on their site.
