Monday, ugh! And it starts at the dentist office, double ugh!! 

I had that last week.  Turned out okay, but they took my wallet.
 

Just going in for a cleaning, but still......

Good morning folks.  We got home last night from Virginia.  I thought the drive would be in the rain but about 30 minutes before we left the hotel yesterday morning the rain ended and the clouds parted.  We had a beautiful drive home with zero incidents.  We did stop in Roanoke at Black Dog Salvage for a few minutes.  That is the retail location for the group on tv that does the salvage and construction using things they salvaged from old buildings/barns/homes.  We only spend about 30 minutes there but I could spend all day if Mrs. Nalt would let me.  I would love to go into that kind of business too.

Glad 2 and Chech both made it home safely.  Sorry about having to go to the dentist 2.  Looks like I'm going to have to do that soon too.  I have a crown that is a bit loose that is driving me crazy...

My trip to the dentist was a good one. X-rays showed no problems and the dentist said my teeth were in good shape. The only negative; after the cleaning, she did a fluoride treatment and now my teeth feel like they're covered with little sweaters.

I need to go to the dentist.  I have no dental work in my mouth, but I've been lax about going for the routine cleanings the last 5 years or so.  I've never had a cavity, but I'm guessing that will change on my next trip.

Interesting.  I've heard people recently talking about how they never had diabetes until they went to the doctor.  I'm guessing the same could be said about people regarding cavities too...

Well got my injections in my right side of hip. Pain is gone but back is still cutting up. Go back on 18th and get the injections inside my right knee. RTR!

Preacher, I'm glad you got some relief for your hip. Hope they can help your back soon.

Well, we've got 2 of the 7 weeks of Open Enrollment in the books. It's wearing me out so far. This may be the busiest one yet. Oh well, gotta make the hay while I can.

Tua returns to practice Wednesday. I don't really expect to see him do much other than rehab assignments before next week. If I was a betting man, I'd put my money on a full week of practice for him next week, and him starting against LSU.

The hype has begun.

Wildfires in California - WOW.  Lots of people affected out there, and many losing homes.  That must be horrible.

The wildfires are terrible. They are every year out there. When you don't get much rain, it doesn't take much for a fire to start and go out of control. Prayers for the fire fighters and the affected.

It's only Tuesday, Chech. Golfball right now, seems waaay in the future.

Good morning folks.  Foggy here this morning.  Those fires are bad, every year.  But I don't feel sorry for many of those whose houses get torched.  Most of them in those areas are adamantly opposed to preventative, prescribed burns which could help to control the underbrush (fuel for these wild fires) so when a spark hits it quickly expands into an uncontrollable, raging fire.  Of course, there are those that truly are victims of the majority in California...

I've heard lots of folks talking about heavy fog and back ups coming in from the east and South Huntsville this morning.  I never ran into any at all coming in from the west and entering Gate 9.
