Now Preacher, I gotta tell ya, it's got to be some kind of sin to live in Alabama and be a slave to Georgia TV. You need to go to the Fruitland town hall and protest.

I've been there a few times. I spent the last 3 years in Greenville, SC and am now back at my home in Pensacola. One of my best insurance agents lives in Aiken. You're close to Augusta, Ga. You ever go to the Masters?

2stater: yeah, been to a couple of practice rounds, but even those tickets are out of this world now.

A good story:  My brother and I were at a practice round some yrs ago, Gary Player was on a par 3 tee box, (no 6?)and my bro was talking with him since they had met at the sr tourney in Bham yr before..Gary told him that "if I hit my shot within 3 ft of the pin, I'll get you a ticket for next yr"  GAry hit it 2 ft from pin!  So the next Feb my brother got in the mail instructions on who to see for 2 tickets to the Thurs round, AND an invitation to a reception that evening.  We had a great time! Gary Player is truly a gentleman besides a great golfer.

Sidenote: at the reception, here were a lot of equip reps there, and we had a great tiime talking golf with them..until they found out we were nobodies! Had some great food, though!

Great story. The lady who was our HR director for our company in SC was the HR director for the golfing community "The Cliffs" before coming to us. They have communities all over North and South Carolina. She met a lot of famous golfers including Gary Player. She said the same thing you did, that he is a hell of a good guy. She said Nicklaus was an a**hole.

Hey 2stater I have been to the Neilsen TV Ratings and my EMA has backed me and it is tied up in court. It has been a mess for the past 5 years. RTR!

Just found out that for those of us in the Florida Panhandle (Pensacola area), the game will be televised on WJTC, channel 44. 

Unfortunately, not in HD.

The SEC needs to get a new partner to do the early game. I think it is RAYCOM or Jefferson Pilot. It is very low quality. On some days it looks like they are broadcasting in black and white.

No kidding. Eveyone is HD these days. Don't understand why they are not.
