Good morning everybody. Just got back on. I been in hospital doggone it. ER at Anniston said I had pneumonia in my right lung and they shipped me to VA in Birmingham and they said I had the flu. I don't know what it was but it sure was and still is rough. They said it takes about 3 weeks to get over it. I hope all of you are safe from this stuff and the family too. Missed being here, but Lordy, I was so weak and coughed so hard it hurt all in my chest. Maybe it is going away. God Bless. RTR!

Man, you're just continually getting slammed! Crank up that firepacle one more time and get cozy until the spring thaw, which should get here about June. 

Will be in the 70's here today and windy. That's half a good recipe for golf.

February weather seems to be going out like a lion so maybe the month of March will be more like a lamb. 

It's good to see Ricky is back posting, glad he is doing better and hopefully Miss Dottie is feeling better as well.

J, did you attend the softball games yesterday? If so, is Michigan really that good?

Yes and yes!! Michigan is as good of a team as you will see this year. They have three solid pitchers and they swing heavy bats, plus their defense is very solid as well. They could possibly be the best team that Bama will play this year. Bama is playing very soft right now, waiting for good things to happen for them rather than playing hard and making good things happen. Playing Michigan is probably the best thing that could happen to them at this point and time in the season, it's early and now they know what it will take to win a national championship.

 Bama's pitchers are not pitchers right now, they are throwers. They seem to not have very good control of pitching to where they want the ball to go and are just trying to throw the ball hard and hope it isn't hit. I will say that mental mistakes by the defense made it a lot tougher for the pitchers. Jury pitched pretty good in the first loss to Michigan but a sloppy defense let the game get way out of hand. Secondly, Bama could not move runners on base. I think if you asked CPM what cost them the two games against Michigan he would tell you it was the lack of hitting skills and mental mistakes by the defense.
