Coffee

OMG, 2, that's horrible news about your house flooding.  How crazy is that!

Hopefully by this morning you've gotten everything under control.
Sending my good thoughts and best wishes your way.

Guess we should all put in a gate valve between the water main and the house, huh?  Something not considered until too late.

I'll send updates later.  Travel tomorrow...
When I built our house I put a shut-off valve just outside of the garage so that the water can be turned off quickly in the event of something like 2's experience happened.  Our water meter is about 400+ feet from the house so this valve saves the time it would take to go that far...  Cool

NALT, I couldn't get the valve to cut off with a water key. It wouldn't budge. The Fire Dept was baffled as well.

Well 2 we are praying for you guys to get the good stuff happening at a lot better cost than normal. Too, that this stuff stays away. Man we are so sorry to hear that. Well everybody else have a great day. It sure looks like more rain this morning. My grass is making a very funny screeching noise. Later everybody. RTR!

I feel for you, 2.  Water is the next worse thing after fire damage.  My daughter's family had it happen twice.  It's wonderful that you had so much help.  The next problem is probably talking the insurance company into the compensation their contract calls for. But I have the feeling that you're a good talker.

Thanks OT. All I want is to get the mitigation, reconstruction and bed paid for. The TV and an air purifier bit the dust as well. It looks like most everything else is salvageable. After assessing everything, It really could have been a lot worse.

Hence, the reconstruction part.

I'm guessing Chech is back on the road to another Holy Grail fishing spot.

Apparently, even though it's been cold up there, the weather has cooperated. Good thing he didn't come down here. We're waterlogged and it's still raining.

Oklahoma repeats as the WCWS National Champs by sweeping UF. Nothing like home field advantage if you can make it there every year.

Is it football season yet?  Undecided

Morning all. Coffee

I'm in Jackson Wyoming and heading into Teton National Park, then Yellowstone this morning. Should be fishing by noon. I have several spots along the Firehole River that I'll try.

Hope your day goes well.

Good morning folks.  I bet Preacher didn't sleep with his windows up last night.  It was pretty chilly.  Hope he and Ms. Dottie are feeling good this morning.  Looking forward to some nice fish pics from Wyoming Chech.  2, how is the house?

NALT, the dryers are still going. They should come today to take them out. The adjuster came yesterday and seemed pretty fair. I think he and I can do business. None of this will be finished by the time I come home from the surgery, so I'm setting up camp in the guest room.

Chech, I hope the Trout in the Firehole haven't been tipped off about your prowess from the Trout in the Frying Pan.
