No. 4 Alabama softball sweeps doubleheader with Arkansas

The differences are endless between this year's Alabama softball team and last year's, but none is more striking than its number of sweeps against SEC competition.

The No. 4 Crimson Tide added to that total Saturday when it won both of its games against Arkansas, 12-1 in five innings and 4-3 to complete its latest three-game sweep. It was Alabama's fourth sweep in five SEC series, as it moved to 14-1 in conference play.

I don't think so, softball doesn't rate up there with the major sports just yet at Bama. He does have a plaque already at the Sara Patterson Walk of Fame that is located across the street from Coleman.

Bama has a commanding lead in the SEC with their 14-1 record.

You bet, Murph is a lot of fun to chat with. Just a little FYI. A very reliable rumor source says that Bama is getting a pitcher from California, a catcher from Gardendale, and an infielder from Texas. They have five seniors this year and I haven heard who the other two might be.

He's a recruiting machine! Seems like we have a coach in another sport who is pretty good at it too.
