Joel Corry, a former sports agent who writes about salary-cap and contract issues for CBSSports.com and NationalFootballPost.com, reported on Tuesday that Richardson had been suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team," which would give the Colts the ability to get out of the final year of the former Alabama star's contract without paying him.
