Everyone & I mean every sports talker predicted Washington to be #4. I admit, I thought they would be, too.

If the standings held through the end of the season, both the Pac-12 and Big 12 would be shut out of the playoff, thanks to two SEC teams getting bids.

A bit surprising, but Washington's schedule is garbage, as is the PAC12. I'm glad to see the committee rewarding level of competition rather thN just lazily ranking the undefeated teams. The only thing really surprising to me is that A&M gets in after being so thoroughly thrashed by Bama.

Nebraska 10th after playing NO ONE?


 

Ohio State (7-1) is sixth, followed by Louisville (7-1), Wisconsin (6-2), Auburn (6-2) and Nebraska (7-1).

Florida (6-1), Penn State (6-2), LSU (5-2), Oklahoma (6-2) and Colorado (6-2) are Nos. 11-15, followed by Utah (7-2), Baylor (6-1), Oklahoma State (6-2), Virginia Tech (6-2) and West Virginia (6-1).

One thing for sure I saw is, if Alabama wins out look at the teams they play. lsu, and then win out  a ranked auburn, win out and then a ranked Fla in the SECCG. Then on to the playoffs, it will take a mighty Perfect game every week to win #17. Our backs are really up against the wall in this one. RTR!

I'd put the Aggies at #4.  They've played better competition than Louisville, Washington or OSU.  And losing to Bama in Tuscaloosa is hardly a black mark.

I don't expect them to stay there once conference champions are determined.
