I had a 2pm appt for new tires to be put on my car.  Over an hour later, not a single tire has even been taken off my car.  Meanwhile I've watched them check by battery, oil/fluids, everything else looking for a way to up-sell me.   I'm paying you $900 already, just put on the darn tires.

Guess I had to wait on the guy who graduated from "Tire College" to get free.  He finally started working on them around 3:15.

I don't mind rotating my tires or changing brakes, oil, etc.   But I don't have a balancing machine.

HL, I had new tires put on yesterday as well. Dropped my car off at a place next door to work with a 9:00 AM appointment and it wasn’t done until around 1:00 - maybe because I told them I didn’t need it until 2:30.

Picked the kid up from school and the dog from the house and drove down to Pensacola to stay with my mom for a couple of nights. I’m racing in Gulf Shores tomorrow morning. Race starts at 7:00 - I’ll be motivated to finish fast and get home in time for kickoff.

How long is the race?  If more than 5k, most of us would miss the kickoff.

1500 meter ocean swim, 40k bike, 10k run. Flat course, I’m aiming to finish around around 2 hours, 40 minutes.
