Title: "Jeremy Pruitt explains the goalline fumble - then players tell their side"

Pruitt: “We’re close down there on the goal line,” Pruitt said. “So you’ve got an opportunity to run the sneak or give the ball there to (Quavaris Crouch) again. There was some miscommunication out there. And that’s our fault. It’s nobody’s fault. It’s the coaches’ fault, ok, starting with me. It’s no reason to hurry up. The ball is this far from the in line.

We ran two quarterback sneaks earlier in the game by pushing the pile and our guys, they dented the front a little bit right there. So, talking about it there on the sideline, we could either go back with it and run the sneak and we elected to run a sneak. Shouldn’t have jumped over the top. Should’ve pushed it there in the middle.”

Center Brandon Kennedy on the goal line fumble: "I'm not sure. When we left the huddle we had a play called and then it changed at the line and I'm not sure what happened."

Trey Smith on the miscommunication on the goal line fumble: "It’s hard to tell. I was pulling away from the play."
Was it a handoff?
"I'm not sure. I don't want to give away our calls."

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2:  Like everybody wants to know Tenn's tricky calls on a fumble play.

I'm glad that drive ended like it did but I sure wish our defense would step up about 50 yards earlier than they did...

Ricky, watch an NFL game.  The new offenses in both the SEC and NFL move the ball on everybody.
Despite the best DBs in the world playing in the NFL, it's impossible to stop a good passing offense.  It's the new reality.  Unless the QB holds the ball too long, there's no way to stop them completely.

HTH

Yes.  He's been a bad influence on you.  I gave up trying to educate him.
