Is anyone going to set up a football pick'em site on Yahoo? I'm computer brain dead, but is there someone who plans on doing a site. Let me know something. Thanks.

 Huh?

I think everyone decided to just do it within the forum.  Take a look to the left side of the page.  If I have time, I am going to try to build something to help us track all of this.  I am also considering giving a cash prize to the winner.

I am still thinking about the prizes.  If I have a weekly prize, obviously the amount would be much smaller, but it gives you more chances to win and it doesn't eliminate you if you come in to the contest late or if you miss a week.  On the other hand, if I had one prize for the overall winner at the end of the season, then the amount would be more interesting and might attract more attention.  But it would have to be announced ASAP so people could get their picks in for the first week before Saturday.

What do you guys think?

First, I think you are going way beyond the call of duty offering cash prizes. A few e-creds and the pride factor would be enough IMO.

Second, weekly prizes would keep everyone interested. By the 5th week people may start dropping out if they are falling behind the leaders.

Sorry, it was discussed in the discussion thread but then I didnt mention it in the pick thread.  I edited the OP in the week 1 thread.  We are picking against the vegas line at the time I pick the games, which will in all likelihood be on Mondays.    This means you can watch the line move through the week if you're that into it.

Have fun.
