We have 4 less than exciting bowls today:

Penn State v Georgia
Kansas State v Arkansas
Oregon v TCU
West Virginia v Arizona State

Not the most exciting slate, but the last four bowls other than the Natty.

UGA and Arky SHOULD win. TCU is in big time trouble without Boykin, and WVU has a tough assignment playing in what is basically a home game for ASU.

YESSIR! Let's go 8-2! Media won't have anything to talk about this year except how Bama dominated Clemson in the Natty.

Penn St drives across midfield and then pass bounces off receiver for an INT.

GA drives to the 32, gets a 5 yard defensive offsides penalty on 4th and 8, then kicks a 44 yd FG off the upright.

I picked PSU in this game.  GA is being coached by the WR coach, and no telling how much motivation they have.  PSU's coach, James Franklin, is very familiar with Georgia and would like nothing more than to come away with a win, so I have to think PSU is more motivated, if less talented.

Anyway, I can rationalize it however I want, but it seemed one of the better games to take a chance with.  After Georgia's coaching staff left, the line dropped to below a TD, so technically I'm getting a bargain with PSU.  I don't need them to win, just keep it under a TD like Missouri, Auburn, Georgia Southern and Georgia Tech (4/5 of Georgia's  wins after Nick Chubb's injury).

Still would like to see Georgia win... by 6.

All 4 games have interesting possibilities plus the usual soap opera stuff. UGA coaching changes, can Bill Snyder stay on the sideline the whole game without his Metamucil, TCU QB disaster, how much longer can Dana Holgorson keep his job at West Virginia, same goes for Todd Graham at Arizona State.

Have fun at the show.  I'm thinking this game will be a low scoring affair.

So far the teams have traded punts, but PSU is winning in field position, across midfield yet again.  GA's FG came after an INT at midfield, otherwise they've gone nowhere.

Announcer just said this is only the second time these teams have met.

Surprising, given the long tradition at both schools, and how many times Bama has played PSU.

Georgia puts together an OK drive, gets just across midfield, punts to PSU 10.

Penn State QB Hackenburg appears to hurt his shoulder running the ball, but throws a nice bubble screen on the next play for 19 yards, followed by another bubble screen for 6 yards.  PSU borrowing a page from Bama's playbook?

51 yard completion puts PSU on the GA 18 yd line.

PSU getting nowhere running the ball.

Hackenburg goes to the locker room.

PSU kicks a FG to tie the game.

Another interesting game, line-wise, is Arky v KSt.  Bielema coached under Snyder at Kansas State and still calls him for advice.  You think Bielema will unleash the dogs and run up the score?  Kansas State lost by a combined 16 points versus Baylor, Oklahoma State and TCU.  So it's conceivable KSU can keep it under 11 1/2.
