Great game; Henry is a beast that's all you can say about him. Would like to see Harris as the #2 back behind the first string O-line, Coop needs a lot of work, hope nothing happens to Coker.

We looked pretty good for week 1.  Way better than some other teams I saw today.

Penn State?

Seriously, the SEC showed they're atop college football.
The Big 10 shipped the bed (as did the left-coast conference).

I was going to say Kansas... Shocked

You failed to mention that ol' "fly in the ointment" was calling the game.

Cooper looks like he needs work.

 Tinfoil Hat

I'd like to see Cooper running the first team, especially with an OL that can block for him.  Coker played well but he looks like a disaster is possible on any play.  Cooper like a real QB to me.  Much more upside in the long run.  But take nothing away from Coker.  He got 'er done!

Cooper does not seem to be as accurate to; his passes for the most part were either, high or to far ahead of the receiver, then there was the pass out in the flat where he threw the ball well behind the reciever which lead to a big loss.

Calvin Ridley looked awesome.  The guy has great hands, quickness, speed...  He was Bateman's go-to receiver.

The media kept questioning Bama's receivers leading up to the game, I think Bama is doing fine in that dept. Ridley is going to be outstanding.

Quote
There's nothing like being out there and being able to hand the ball to a guy like Henry. He is a tailback in a middle linebacker body (6-foot-3, 242), kind of like if Porsche produced a beer truck.

Good quote in ESPN Article.

Mark my words, Ridley will follow in the footsteps of Julio and Coop.

Kiffin is attributed with saying something like this about Ridley, before Saban told him to keep it quiet.   Laughing
