I watched the women field hockey this morning.  We won't be taking home a medal in fh. 
I coached fh in Virginia for a year (1978).  I know we have better talent out there for Rio 2016.

I am glad you said that Chech. When I lived in Maryland a few years ago, I saw some amazing play up there. When I saw how badly our team was performing, I wondered what the deal was.

I'm willing to coach them if I need to.  Really, I'll do it.  I'll be in Rio anyhow, so what the heck!!

When I have more time, I'll post about a beer drinking contest I was a part of on a cruise ship. Let's just say for now that I can hold up my end of the bargain.

Medal count update:

USA leads China 94-81 (and pulling away).  Not many sprinters in China, perhaps due to centuries of torturous foot binding!
