An example of how not to treat others

I was on wooly after TS shut down but haven't been back in months.  bamachine made a comment about one of my posts that no half-decent human being would make and I made the mistake of responding.  From there it went out of control and I haven't been back since. 

I came here when the season started because I wanted a place to talk football with adults (not many opportunities to talk Alabama football in China).

If I calculated right.... that's about 1.4 billion opportunities to at least tell and convert to Alabama football.

I showed video clips in class two years ago during the championship season.  So far though, my wife is my only convert and she's not a Chinese citizen.

I give kudos to everybody here for not stooping to WA's level by constantly bashing them. Like Chech said, I am sure there are good people over there who are just not able to get through due to the juvenile nature of the outspoken few. I was there right after TideSprotz for about a month, and finally got fed up with the all of the immaturity and Wild West kind of thinking. Thankfully I remembered that SC was starting CRS and I have found my permanent home (dysfunctional home at times, but home nonetheless    ) E-cred to all in this thread!!

I want to give my opinion on why we are hated by wollyal so bad. (1) you have to act grown up over here. (2) most of those people over there are young people with a vulgar mouth and no kids and wife or mother. We do not allow cursing or bad talk over here. (3) Saturday somebody made a mistake and said something bad, my grandkids was here rading and watching me. I reminded them of who was with me, and they apologized. (4) We have not only have children but women who should be respected when coming in to post here without the "f" bomb every other word. (5? True Bama fans want to discuss all things football without degrading people. I give a for instance the attack on the LSU fans at WV game. This is sad our sport has vcome to this level.
What happens if forums get banned, we would be the only one left. I just think anybody that likes that much vularity is hiding from their Moms and Dads. Maybe even their children. I pray God will deal with them and work out something on them. Thanks for letting share on this one. RTR!

I hated that crap, had to wade thru tons of it to get to some good honest discussion about BAMA FB.

I don't plan on going anywhere.  I enjoy talking football with you guys.  Thanks again.

I have always really enjoyed talking with you  (many others too)
back before the coaching change TS wasn't to bad of a place
but it steadily went down hill until the end
there were a few folks that I liked to read and talk with from time to time
but some of the others not so much and it made it hard to enjoy at times

always looked forward to your insight and back when your kicker was
at LSU we had some good conversations
that is until one of the trouble makers popped off and butted in
which derailed the thread beyond repair

that is what's so good about CRS
that don't happen 


I may not always comment but I surely have read your game summaries every time and enjoy them a lot .
I think I can say that WE here all appreciate the time you put into writing them .
so it's not hard to figure out why someone would highjack your work
