Then he never leaves since he was hired by Charlie and Charlie isn't around to fire him (but they think he's only shacked up with an indigenous girl).

This is how I think they should play it out. Everyone is sleeping and the phone rings. Alan answers. It's the hospital. Charlie was DRUNK and had a wreck. Charlie dies. Charlie leaves everything to his brother and nephew. THEN Judith kicks Herb out and he moves in with Alan and Charlie. I haven't watched the show in a while. they had gotten to where it was an R-Rated show IMHO. Title: Re: Your pick for actor to replace C.
