I'm a bit sore today from working on roofing the screened porch yesterday.  I'm definitely not conditioned to that sort of work as much as I was 25 years ago...

Good morning all. Pray God's blessings on you all today. The funeral went well. The dad was 92 and the family expected it any time. Glad our girls won and I see most all our players were drafted not sure about Savion though. Pray the day is beautiful.
Tonight at 6 PM start our reading of the Bible night and day until we finish up Thursday national prayer day. This will be the 3rd year but 5 other cities have picked it up this year. RTR!

NALT, the only reason I look younger than my class mates is because I am. Due to me starting school in Florida, and my birthday in December, I started school when I was 5 years old.

That is a fine quote.  And it is true, if you don't mind then it doesn't matter.  However, I thought this would be something that I could handle with no problem.  Unfortunately, my body is strongly disagreeing with me...

Yesterday was another beautiful spring day.  Just lovely.  Today will be almost as nice; more humid, but warm and pretty.

The softball team lost 3-2 in extra innings to KY.  So they lost the series.
 

And the men lost to LSU in baseball.  Bummer.

NALT, there are younger humans who are capable of doing roofing.  I used to do it too for Habitat for Humanity.  It's hard work.  Maybe it's time for you to scratch that one off the list.  Just sayin'.

Getting close to May, and May is when I head west.  WOOT!

I'm just glad we're getting some consistently warm weather. I've got my annual golf outing towards the end of May with my guys from Atlanta. We normally go to Myrtle Beach, but this year, we're heading to the mountains of NC. A 2 hour drive for me.

When we got home from Prattville yesterday, the weather was too nice to ignore the golf course, so I played. Got to get into form for the outing, you know, lol! Shot a 77 with 3 birdies. I actually putted well yesterday. Came out of nowhere.

I'm just glad we're getting some consistently warm weather. I've got my annual golf outing towards the end of May with my guys from Atlanta. We normally go to Myrtle Beach, but this year, we're heading to the mountains of NC. A 2 hour drive for me.

When we got home from Prattville yesterday, the weather was too nice to ignore the golf course, so I played. Got to get into form for the outing, you know, lol! Shot a 77 with 3 birdies. I actually putted well yesterday. Came out of nowhere. 

I could believe that. 
Seriously, putting is weird.  Some days it's just all feel and you can't miss.  Other times you fight the techniques and can't sink anything.  Why?

Good morning folks.  Looks to be a really nice day here too.  I took off work today so that Mrs. Nalt and I can go to Montevallo with the youngest boy and his class on their field trip.  I'm also going to take off tomorrow too I think to try and finish up the side job that I started.  I can finish the roof in less than an hour but then I need to finish the soffit and enclose the gable.  That shouldn't take me much more than 1/2 a day doing it all on my own.

Yeah Chech, I am going to have to leave the roofing to the next generation.  I had been planning on doing a full tear-off and nail on of the roof on Dad's house.  He is getting it ready to sell and it definitely needs a roof. I thought that I could do it for him and make some decent $$ too.  This "much smaller" job has taught me that my ability to do that are just no longer with me.
