Quote
Former Washington coach Steve Sarkisian is set to be hired as a special offensive assistant at Alabama, according to a report from Fox Sports.

Sarkisian was set to work as a game analyst for Fox Sports starting next week.

Last year, Sarkisian was fired by USC in the middle of his second season as the Trojans’ head coach, his termination coming four days after the Huskies upset USC in Los Angeles.

My goodness, is this true? Jamos or any of the REC heard anything about this? I guess CNS is running a rehab center, rofl. If this happens we could end up with 2 of the best offensive coaches in college football. RTR!

My 2-cents...Kiff has a lot to do with this.  Before all the stuff happened at USC, Kiff and Sark were colleagues at USCw.  Sounds like their friendship survived all the mess.

This^^^ Plus, Saban is a believer in 2nd chances.

Sark does have a good offensive mind.

Saban knows Kiffin likely to take a HC job after this year and bringing in Sark as his next rehabilitation project?

Maybe CLK is going to hire him to take his place when he becomes head coach, after CNS becomes AD  Undecided

It worked out OK with Kiffin. If CNS thinks he can bring something positive to the program why not hire him.

OH no, I am not saying don't hire him. I am saying all this speculation about it when I don't see it on espn or any of the sec stuff. This was my only thought. RTR!

I did see this scroll across the bottom of ESPN last night during the Ole Miss game.

I wonder if he is still getting paid by USC?  Probably not, since he was fired "with cause", but it sure is nice of USC to augment our budget for coach's salaries like they are with Kiffin.

Probably the first time in history when a school took a beat down from an opposing coach that was still on their own payroll.

Wow, I had not thought about this. Now one thing that slipped by me also, I didn't know Pat Haden was not the AD there anymore and Lynn Swann was now. I guess Haden decided he had enough of the junk that goes along with being a USCw AD. RTR!
