TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Alabama running back Trent Richardson will finish third in Heisman Trophy voting.

Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III will win college football's most prestigious award.

Says who?

Says the final Heismanpundit.com poll of 13 voters.

The panel correctly has forecast the past four Heisman Trophy winners and has come close to nailing the top five players in order each time.

This time, Griffin received eight first-place votes and 32 points. He appeared on 12 ballots.

Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck received four first-place votes and 23 points. He appeared on 11 ballots.

Richardson was a distant third with one first-place vote and 10 points. He appeared on six ballots.

Did Griffin throw one pass against a good defense?  Every highlight this weekend showed him standing in the pocket patiently, then throwing to wide-open WRs.  He was able to step into every throw.

Can he run with 8 Boogers on his back?  Give me a break.  Angry

This will be disappointing. TR would be leading hands down if we let him run up the score and kept him in the whole game.

If either Griffin or Luck wins, they both need to add the defensive units and coaches at all of the schools in their respective conferences to their acceptance speeches. Without their suckiness, they wouldn't be where they are.  Angry

Hate to see him lose but that will mean one less distraction for NC #14. I figured this would happen if Bama made it to the NCG. We all need to remember that there is no prejudice or bias shown by any of the folks that are selected to do the voting for the Heisman.  Huh?

I call BS. Aren't these the same set of goobs that predicted HTWMI would NOT win the Heisman?....and supposedly they were shocked when he did? If so, no 4 in a row.  Undecided

Bingo. Tell us now so CNS and MFBATR won't waste BCSNCG time going to NYC.

The most salient point is that TR hates to fly.  He shouldn't have to board a plane if he's not going to win.

These folks had Trent @ #1 the previous week, with Luck #2 and that Baylor QB at a distant 3rd.  Did the week off for Richardson and Luck have that much of an impact?  I guess we will see.

Both RGIII and Montee Ball had big weeks in nationally televised games while TR & AL sat at home. Big advantage for RGIII and MB. I hope TR hangs on for the win but I think RGIII wins a close one.
