Then there's Kouandjio, a 6-foot-6, 322-pound phenom who was not among the freshmen who enrolled in January.
Perhaps the biggest buzz in preseason camp has involved the performance of true freshman Cyrus Kouandjio, who has taken some snaps at left tackle with the first unit.
Is it ridiculous to think Kouandjio could play this season?
"Certainly it's not ridiculous," Jones said. "He's got the talent. He's just got to continue to learn and develop. It's a huge load no matter how talented you are mentally, just learning an SEC offense in camp. So it's not ridiculous, but it's definitely going to be a challenge."
Steen started two games late last season when Jones was out with an ankle injury.
Steen said it was "tough" going up against Auburn star Nick Fairley, "but I wish I could do it again, to tell you the truth. Just getting beat that one time really (stunk). But I can't go back and do it. So I'm looking ahead to the future."
