Funny quote, but hardly true.

Seriously:  During Coach Bryant's tenure he had many, many assistants who left Alabama to eventually become head coaches.  And true, many lost to Alabama. 

It's not like that today.  Coach Saban has a program that produces so much money that assistants are paid well enough to stay for longer periods before leaving.  In the old days assistant coaches earned meager salaries; today coordinators are millionaires at Alabama.  So, fewer have left than did during the 1960s-70s.

But I like our program, even when we lose assistants, and even when we beat teams coached by former Alabama assistants!
