"The most memorable game I've had this year, I've got to say, was Auburn, because after the first couple of hits, everybody (on Auburn's defense) was just backing up," said Copeland, a sophomore from LaGrange, Ga. "They didn't want to hit at all. ... Before I got to them, they just fell down and just laid on the ground," Copeland said.
Click here for linkCopeland does concede, however, that he met his matches at Alabama on Nov. 5 in linebackers Courtney Upshaw (6-2, 265) and Dont'a Hightower (6-4, 260).
"They're real good," Copeland said. "They're good in space. They come down and hit you and everything. They don't fall down before contact."
Copeland expects to make some effective adjustments when he faces the Crimson Tide again Jan. 9.
