On a night that included a little drama in the end, the No. 3 Alabama gymnastics team won Friday at No. 13 LSU to finish undefeated in Southeastern Conference competition for the first time since 1991.
The Crimson Tide (9-0, 6-0 in the SEC) survived a fall by sophomore Diandra Milliner at the beginning of its last rotation, on the balance beam. The next five Alabama gymnasts hit their routines and Alabama won 197.025 to 196.575.
It was the Tide's season-high road score.
