It is hard to go against Jeremiah Castille, but my pick is Reggie Ragland.

Let's create some fun with the 3 or 4 members who still post.

Who is your favorite Bama player that wore # 20. We can do this each day leading up to Game Day.

# 20 Sherman Williams.

I'm not sure what their national anthem is...

I get a kick out of reading the Babalyon Bee. A satire site with Fake News You Can Trust as their motto. They have been having a lot of fun at Rapinoe expense. They refer to (him/she/it) as the dude with the funny colored hair.

I got my tickets Thursday, local schools started back this week, and we are in the dog days of summer. That means September 2nd and the start of the season is not far away.

Happy Saturday to all.

Not much sports this time of year. I have enjoyed the Red Sox hot streak. They have won 5 in a row and are in the Wild Card mix. A lot of season left to go.

Former Bama golfer Lee Hodges is leading this week's tournament. He is up 4 at -15. Hodges yardage book that golfer's carrier in their back pocket has a big red ROLL TIDE on it. My favorite golfer, JT, is in a funk. He is missing more cuts than he makes and is not competitive. I do not know what his problem is, but he needs to get it fixed.

Thought I would drop in to let everyone know I’m still alive and kicking.  Maybe not kicking as high, but still hanging in there.  My health is about what an 81 year old could expect. We celebrated our 60 th wedding anniversary recently and sold our house we had lived in for 46 years and moved into a gated community near by. Downsizing is hard work, especially when you have 46 years of accumulation to deal with. We still have a lot of interaction with our kids and grandkids who all live in the area. Looking forward to football season and all that it brings.

Good to hear from you Lee. 60 years should be celebrated. Congratulations. I cannot imagine moving. We have lived in our house 30 years. Besides the house we have stuff stored in the garage, attic, and the loft of my outdoor shed/building.

Don't be a stranger. Check in with us from time to time.

Four men were out playing golf. They happened to be behind a group with an absolutely gorgeous lady.

On the last hole, they were waiting to hit onto the green. The beautiful young lady waved them up.

“I have noticed you guys gawking over me this whole round,” she said. “If any of you can help me make this putt, I will show you the time of your life.”

The first guy says, “Play it out six inches to the right.”

The second guy says, “Play it out to the left six inches.”

The third guy says, “No, it is straight. Play it in the center of the cup.”

Finally, the fourth guy bends over and picks her ball up and says, “That’s a gimme.”

Happy Hump Day, gents.

Did someone say Christmas?  The jolly old fat man is going to be sweating his jingle bells off in this weather.

It is not Christmas time. It is just time for Walmart to put the lawn mowers up and put out the Christmas stuff.

Bob stood over his tee shot for what seemed an eternity. He waggled, looked up, looked down, waggled again, but didn’t start his backswing.

Finally his exasperated partner asked, “What the hell is taking so long?”

“My wife is up there watching me from the clubhouse,” Bob explained. “I want to hit a perfect shot.”

“Good lord!” his companion exclaimed. “You don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of hitting her from here.”

UT got off easy. I read where they self-imposed a 1 scholarship reduction and those have already been met. That means they only have the 12 more the NCAA added. That is only 2.5 a year over 5 years.

Coaches got hit pretty hard with long "show clauses". My guess is Pruitt will get picked up by some NFL team. The guy can coach especially on the defensive side. He was with the Giants in 2021 but did not coach last year. I think he is done with Division I Football.

Howdy folks.  Busy day at work.  I hope you are all doing well.

@ 2, when the boys and I were down there last month the traffic was horrible. I talked to one LEO about how bad it was and I told him that I bet it will be much worse later into the summer.  He said it would be insane...  And to think I have been trying to work out a time with Mrs. Nalt for us four to go down there so I can take the boys out deep sea fishing...  Stars

We went to Orange Beach the last week of April and plan to go back late September. The weather is ideal during those times and the kids are in school keeping the parents away. I hate the summer traffic but even worse than that is the restaurant wait times.

Montana Fouts leaves Alabama as one of the most successful and popular players in program history. The graphic below list just a few of her accomplishments. The fact that she does not hold all the Alabama pitching records shows we have had some pretty good players through the years. Montana has left her mark on the program, and she will be missed.

HL & pmull got it going on for the 4th. We're celebrating Independence Day Sunday and I'm ordering baby back ribs from Sonny's BBQ. With my back situation, I just can't stand over a grill anymore, so unfortunately, I have to cheat.

I can still light fireworks though.

I have no idea what we are cooking for the 4th, I was talking about today. I took the day ohh and don’t go back until Wednesday. I am going to smoke a Boston Butt tomorrow and eat on that for a couple of days.

Good Friday Eve to you all.   Time to stock up on your fireworks and meat for the grill.

Watcha cooking, HL?

I'm thinking St Louis style ribs and chicken (either leg quarters or.wings).  How about you?

Skinless chicken thighs with green herbs and corn on the cob for me. All cooked on the grill. I cook the green beans on the side burner with onions and sweet peppers.
