Quote
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), no stranger to attention-grabbing campaigns featuring nude women, plans to launch a pornography website in the name of animal rights.

The non-profit organisation, whose controversial campaigns draw criticism from women's rights groups, said it hopes to raise awareness of veganism through a mix of pornography and graphic footage of animal suffering.

"We're hoping to reach a whole new audience of people, some of whom will be shocked by graphic images that maybe they didn't anticipate seeing when they went to the PETA triple-X site," said Lindsay Rajt, PETA's associate director of campaigns.

PETA has been accused of campaigning for animal rights at the cost of exploiting women. A Facebook group, Real Women Against PETA, was launched after the organisation paid for a billboard showing an obese woman with the message: "Save the Whales. Lose the Blubber. Go Vegetarian."

Let's make sure the cows are coddled, but women are fair game for exploitation.  Who do those idiots think will visit their porn site?  Do they really think these men are going to give up steak once they see their propaganda?

PETA is like some of those environmental wacko groups.

I didn't post the picture of girl holding rabbit with article.

Several years ago I had a debate with a "PETA" member while standing on the dock after an offshore fishing excursion. Amazingly I maintained my temper and spoke in a clear concise and level headed manner. By the time the debate ended, there was a small crowd gathered, and I had many, offers of " let me by you a beer" or a "drink." It was fun.

LOL, yeah with the fish in the box that day, they new seafood was on the menu.

Basically her argument was about the "Pain and torture" caused to the fish by fishermen.

I asked "How?"

She started about the the hook...

I responded by saying they would not pull so hard against the hook if it hurt so much. I used the example of putting a ring through a bulls nose, pull on that ring and the bull will follow you anywhere. They do not resist. I also asked her what she thought saltwater fish ate. I explained that they ate ate other salt water fish with really hard pointy spines and fins, along with shell fish, that have very hard and pointy exo-skeletons. Fish are used to having to digest hard share pointy objects.
we debated form about 20-30 minutes, and I  won on all facets.

No, actually that is the way they expect you us to act / react. With physical force and violence. It was actually much more fun to beat her at her own game, by maintaining muy composure and not " breaking" on her. By me staying calm it really really pissed her off.
