Fluker. -OL second group was comprised of left tackle Aaron Douglas, left guard Anthony Steen, center Kellen Williams, right guard John Michael Boswell and right tackle Austin Shepherd. -No change/updates to injury report or player suspensions -Alabama will take today off before returning to the practice field Wednesday. Coaches are trying to install offensive and defensive plays and formations to prepare for Saturday's first scrimmage of the spring. March 28th, 2011 Highlights from player interviews/videos: Quotes from Hanks interview: Quote -“It has been going really well out there,” Hanks said. “This is a new year and a new start and we are going to make a lot of noise (on the field) this year as a receiving corps. I feel like my (leadership) role is huge this year. A lot of the young guys look up to me and in the huddle and I try to get everyone going, not just the wide outs.” -McCarron and Sims might have a slightly stronger arm (than GMAC), and both will need to work to develop the leadership skills needed for an Alabama quarterback. -tight end Michael Williams is a force -corner Menzie has looked good this spring. Quotes from Williams' interview: Quote -the competition at quarterback has seen split reps. “Both of them have pretty strong arms,” he said. “You realize you’ve got to come out of your break quickly with both of them.” As for leadership, “Both are great leaders,” he said.
