"It's fine. Just a little bruise," Sims said...

I heard this quote (above) right after the game.

But yesterday on Sirius Radio, I heard a longer interview with him.  It also was made after the game.  Blake said (paraphrasing, but with the his words as I recall), "I messed it up a little.  The training guys will work on it."

That made me wonder if it was more than a bruise.  We may never know, UNLESS his performance is affected.  Recall, AJ's injuries of 2012-13 weren't revealed until after the season.

We have 2 weeks to wait, so here's another quote from Sims:

Talking about treatment for his shoulder, he ended with, "hopefully I'll be ready for Ole Miss".

I thought be a separated shoulder when it happen. But i dont know. I really hope he is good to go for Ole Miss. He is an incredible story and the guys all like him. Not saying Cocker would be ok, but like HScoach said its concerning that he still needs to go to the sidelines to get the plays.

Yeah, the way he walked off after that play, I thought the same thing. D White was back in 3 weeks but said he could have played after 2. If that's what it is, I guess it depends on the severity as to how long it will take.

The way he fell on it, I thought he certainly had a dislocation (as TSM thought).  Ugh!

Greatest fear realized.  Experienced qb injured and 1st year qb has to start.

I think it was a partial dislocation as well.

AJ still has shoulder problems to this day.   I think his goes back to the Tam game when he got slammed.  His throw was never the same after that.

Well CNS has been talking about this all summer. It would be good to have 2 QB's so one could step in if needed due to injury or whatever. He being CNS seems to know more than we ever give him credit. I just hope Blake makes it back, but if not I bet CLK can bring Coker along and have him doing ok after a couple of QTRS. We shall see.
