Howdy folks. My Saturday has been quite nice. Other than running (driving) to the grocery store to purchase a steak, then pan frying said steak, I haven't done anything. That's something they I can never do at home...

I heard of the game announcers recently complaining that "Bama is playing tired" or something similar.  IMO, that is a bunch of hog-wash!  Bama hasn't played any more than anyone else so if they are truly tired, that is the fault of CNO. HE is primarily responsible for the team's performance and that includes strength and conditioning. Now, I am NOT calling for his removal. I think he is a GREAT coach and we will likely win a lot of games with him.

IMO, the team just doesn't have the killer instinct that they need and when they start getting behind they then just go through the motions... Am I wrong? 

After being in Hawaii about 8-10 times over the last four years for a total of roughly 9 months, Hawaii isn't really all that impressive IMO.  It certainly isn't "home" either...

I hope you are able to enjoy your time with the friends and partner...

@ Preacher, what am I supposed to do if I do see one of the Baywatch lifeguards?  I'm too old to chase them and if I were to catch one Mrs. Nalt would kill me.

Howdy folks.  I made it to Hawaii yesterday afternoon (Hawaii time).  Working in the office today trying to get my equipment set up.  Thought I would check in on y'all...

Good Friday morning folks.  Today is my last day in the office in Huntsville for a few weeks.  I will be flying out to Hawaii on Monday.

Re: Doctor Lecter,  I went to the visitation for him yesterday.  His parents and three siblings were there. I already knew his oldest sister and her husband and two sons so it was good to get back in touch with them.

I asked one of her sons if Kevin had been sick lately.  I told him that we were in communication for quite a while but then a few weeks ago he went silent.  The son (Kevin's nephew) said that he had been dealing with some pretty serious health issues that was actually effecting his ability to walk even.  He said that the family kept trying to get him to see a doctor but he kept putting it off until just a couple of weeks ago.  This particular issue began to effect his liver and the doctor put him in the hospital for a procedure.  Kevin was sedated but then it took the next day before he came out of sedation. Then within a couple of weeks of that he was gone.

What was NOT stated was how he passed.  I have my suspicions but nothing is confirmed.  Just know that health problems can be much more than just physical.  Kevin was a great guy.  He will definitely be missed by many people.

 

If they play in the SEC and NCAA tourneys like they played against UcheaT and UF then they will likely be going home early.

Good morning folks.  Supposed to have a very nice day here in north Alabama today as well.  I'm only working until 9:30 then heading out to Dr. Lecter's visitation. Hoping to relax a bit afterwards...

Kevin was a good guy.  He did have weight issues but who knows if that is what caused his passing.  I know his sister and BIL and hope to be able to get a bit of information from them on Thursday at his visitation.  If I do, I will inform as much as I can.
