I strongly disagree with your assumption. I have not heard of his injury status, but I'm sure we can get someone else ready (I hope).

Henceforth (picture the Crusades) you shall see either:

1. An Alabama team that rips Arkansas apart, runs for 300 yards, passes for 298  :unsure: , and wins by 45 points;

2. More of the same.

It's time for the players to check themselves.   :popcorn2:

I think that is an excellent observation. I wonder if we are doing something in our offensive preparation which is causing all these offensive penalties, i.e.., focusing too much on big things and formations and not on the little things like timing, technique (blocking), & other fundamentals?

I wonder if the OP meant Kelly is done for the season, rather than the team.

"Hello, OP.  Please clarify before we spend any more of our valuable time typing such dribble."

Do not be silly.  I would not post such without a link, nor would I be asking for info.

I think if Kelly is out for season BAMA is in big trouble.  He was clearly unable to return to the game.

Did anyone even see him on the sidelines?  I do not think so.  That is not good.

Now BAMA has a banged up qb playing behind a 2nd team center.  Bad times in the SEC.

Thanks for the clarification.

I think we start winning again next weekend -- with new dedication.
Kelly went to the locker room (for x-rays?).

Coach Saban said something like, 'Last time he sprained his knee he was out for 2 weeks.'  An MRI will clarify.

Back-up center will have this week to prep with the first team.  That will help.

Remember last year when Kelly went out?  Many of us thought the OL played better without him.  Not being critical of RK.  Just sayin'....

Chad Lindsay would of come in handy Saturday.

That came to my mind, too. Ironic, huh?

I think the backup did OK considering he was thrown into the game like that.  The snaps were low, but I was expecting at least one fumbled snap that never happened.  So I would say the jury is still out on whether or not losing Kelly will mess up the remainder of the season.  This backup guy, and I don't even know his name, may be able to get up to speed quickly.  There is a reason he isn't the starter obviously, but what we don't know yet is how big the drop off is between #1 and #2.

Bozeman. Another domino in the fall. He will need to get up to speed quickly.

I believe it was Bozeman that came in. I'm sure he'll get up to speed. He'll turn out to be a good one.

I just think Lindsay would of been a great asset to have in that situation if he was still around. Based on what he did last year.

Backup center didn't slow down Ms State -- they had 2 weeks to prepare.

Bozeman did okay, considering.  His snaps were low, but the Dline he was facing was over the top.  I am not criticizing him.

Is it bad to say that this team is not MStateU?

Right now I see losses to boogerU and MStateU in the future.

If Kelly is gone I would say add Tam & LSU to that list.

I hope you are right.  We shall see.

No way we lose to LSU, even if Mrs. Terrie is the center.

If I may add to RTR post. First, I agree with him, the injury bug kills us every year. We have such good talent but the SRS and JRS go to the NFL every year. We play with mostly Soph. and Fresh. each year except a very special couple who hang on for their college love till they graduate. Then the injuries come and we are down to Freshmen all over the team but by the time these guys get to where they can play they either go to the NFL or get hurt. It seems to be a never ending task. It has already been proven when the team hangs around to their SR. year we win championships, if they don't we just keep playing with guys who are only going to be here a couple of years. Am I wrong ? RTR!

I think if we do real well against Arky we should be fine.I think we will have some learning experiences and maybe get over some of our dinged up players.I am NOT drinking anymore crimson  koolaid, but, I still think we got our foot wedged in the door! RTR!

When I look at the schedule I still don't see anyone Bama can't beat. In fact, I predict they will be favored in every game.

I just watched the press conference for today.  Kelly should be able to come back in a couple of weeks.

In the second quarter of Saturday's game, Bama just ran all over the right side of the Ole Miss defense, they couldn't stop Bama. After the half it was the opposite, Ole Miss just manhandled the left side of Bama's OL. The difference in the two halfs was that Kelly was no longer in the game. I hate to say it but when Kelly went down our run blocking went with him. Alabama's inability to run the ball with any consistency in the second half made it much easier for the Ole Miss defense, especially their pass coverage which I think was the nail in the coffin lid in Bama's loss. If you can't run it, you've got to throw it and Ole Miss figured that out real quick.

We may miss Kelly a lot more than what some of you might want to believe. Hopefully the young ones can learn real quick because we go right back into another lions den this Saturday, it won't be easy at Arkansas.

You're right, it will not be easy. I just hope the fire that was ignited in the locker room after the Ole Miss game, spills onto the field in Fayetteville.

We MUST eliminate the penalties and turnovers, and we MUST start playing with swag and confidence. I think we do both. It was obvious that the Drake injury really shook the team up. Drake will be a team leader on the sidelines this week, albeit on crutches. We rebound this weekend against Arky.

ROLL TIDE!!!

How's her technique? What about lateral movement and quickness off the ball? I'm getting worried with all these injuries.

Sure he can, and Coach Bryant said, "you lose one game for every one freshman you start."

Like I said Bozeman did well considering the situation.

Glad Bozeman is an instate kid.  Always good to see.  He is also a RS, so that flattens the learning curve significantly.
