Who's On The Hot Seat???

After watching Nebraska get totally annihilated at home by UCLA Saturday I thought I better go to the graveyard and dig up this thread and add another name to it.

If Bo Pellini isn't on the hot seat at Nebraska then there's something wrong with their whole football program. Nebraska was once one of the premier programs in college football but you wouldn't know it today.

I say they are a bad team, but they might just be just an average Big ten team.

Plus all the stuff that came out today about him foul-mouthing the fans in 2011 will not sit well with anyone, either. He gone!

Methinks the timing of releasing the 2011 tape soon after the UCLA loss is not coincidence.

Well, he might not even have a seat to sit on after that audio clip was released of him talking about the fans.

I think Mack Brown is on the hottest seat, in fact his fanny is smoking. Bo Pelini has just joined him after his antics with cussing out the fans and his tiff with Nebraska legend Tommy Frazier. Others on the hot seat are Kiffin, Charlie Weiss at Kansas, Bowden at Akron, & Ferentz at Iowa (who astounds me that he is still employed there).

I think almost all of these guys might be gone this year.

You mention Ferentz at Iowa and I agree with you but yet I wonder if he is on the hot seat. Iowa once had a very good athletic program, football,basketball, wrestling, etc., but not any more. I don't know if it really matters to the school anymore.

Bowden?  Akron was terrible with he got there Dec. 2012.  And Akron was within inches of beating Michigan on Saturday.  True, he didn't do much in his first season, but they'll at least see what happens this year.

I agree with your statement. That's why I said almost all would be gone. He probably has 2 more years of chances & even Weiss might have 1 year left, unless Kansas totally bombs again.
