the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas on Sunday still listed Alabama as a co-favorite with Oklahoma to win the national title, ESPN noted. The Tide and Oklahoma are 4-to-1 shots to win it all.

Don't be surprised if we're among the top-4 teams named tomorrow by the committee, but left off the final 4 after the conference games.  Just depends on the conference games, quality of play, and (of course) which team wins. 

Our biggest problem is still that we'd be the 2nd SEC team in the playoffs.  Almost nobody outside this forum wants that.

You are right about getting a second SEC team in.  In fact, 2011 is exactly why we finally have a playoff now.  If it happens again this year, expect them to go to 8 teams soon.
