Freshman cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick will play this season — and probably often.

Repeatedly praised by coach Nick Saban and teammates in recent weeks, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Fitzpatrick has seen time at cornerback as well as the Tide's Star and Money extra defensive back positions when the defense goes into its sub-packages.

Good stuff!

Boy, I am hoping our DB's are much improved over last year. We lost 2 games because of DB's inmy mind. I know, if the offense had scored more points we could have won both of them but, if our defense had held up we had enough points to win them. I am just ready to see how we do on defense this year especially against the pass. RTR!

One thing for sure, every team we play will throw those Aub-esque long-pass prayers that killed us during 2014.  Expect Wisconsin to throw one early!

Please, please give us DBs who aren't DAs!   Pray
