Title: Top Ten Coaches on Hot Seat
Post by: Marshal Dillon on October 10, 2012, 02:18:22 PM
I love the comments on the#1 coach.

Quote
10. Jeff Tedford, Cal: No one on this list has done more with his program for as long as Tedford has. He took over a one-win team and produced some double-digit win seasons. But the reality is, Cal came into 2012 three games under .500 in league play during the previous three seasons and they're 1-2 in Pac-12 play now. Losing to Nevada to open the year only made things worse. Last week's dominating performance over UCLA might be the start of bigger things for the Bears. Complicating things is the fact that it would cost the school a reported $10 million to bring in a new staff if it opts to go in a different direction.

There is one glaring omission from that list.

Nope, no way. The boss of Auburn said there is no way Chiznik would be fired even if he lost the rest of his games this year.

Dye has backed off that statement this week. He either knows something or has been told to STFU keep his mouth shut.

I would think a site called "coaches hot seat" would be more official than cbs.  :dunno:

Maybe I should be listening to f-bomb this week.  Hilarity is sure to ensue.

If you read the Auburn forums, the fans were irate with his statement. plus, I think some wealthy boosters told him he needed to sound like an ex-coach instead of the university president.
