When Marquette guard Jimmy Butler hears his name called in tonight's NBA draft, it will mark the completion of a journey that almost no one thought was possible.

Certainly not Butler's mother, who kicked Jimmy out of their Tombull, Texas, house when he was all of 13 years old.

This problem was addressed by the U of A hiring of CAG. There is plenty of in-state talent, but the good ones have been snatched up by our competition. This trend is already being reversed.

I really think if Green continues to improve, he will go in the first round next year. I refuse to think about Mitchell or Releford leaving next year, because I want them to stay and it scares me.
