The SEC must have at least one ace up their shelve. I can not believe the SEC is sitting back and doing nothing.

I think they may have several things lined up and are waiting for the Baylor-Texas A&M feud to settle down.  Once that is resolved I look for them to announce 3 new teams to go with A&M, 2 of which will come from the ACC.  The other may be Missouri.  This is just a hunch, I have no inside info.
We have to get to 14 for numbers sake.  I'm not sure the conservative crew at the SEC will bring in 3 more teams though, especially with the ACC implementing a $20 Million buyout.

The two may have left before that buyout and everyone has just agreed to keep it quiet.  It helps everyone involved to keep the lid on it.  Just a guess.

Virginia Tech and .... ?

I'll go with a surprise pull and say Wake Forest.

Bet $5.00 on that in Las Vegas and you will be rich if you are correct.

Western Virginia took the opportunity of the civil war for statehood. As to allegiances, about half the state fought for the North. I have a recruiting poster (in my dining room) which shows local boys where to meet, for a march NE to be inducted and receive orders, weapon, etc. It was a Confederate poster. Incidently, this recruiting poster, which is specific in naming towns around here, was purchased at a auction in Cannes, France.

BAMAWV, your home state Mountaineers has gotten a big black eye in the conference expansion talk. They begged to get in the SEC and ACC and both did not just say no, they said HELL NO. Everyone must have heard about the trash can getting tossed from the upper deck and hitting the Miami coach and UWV puts out a bunch of uneducated rednecks.

Yep, you're the first to recognize him. He fought for the south and he was born in Virginia, then that part of Virginia went with the North furing the War. Plus, he taught at VMI (I think). A true Southerner and probably our best general.

Thanks MD. Not a bad guess from an uneducated redneck. We have a really nice (new facilities) state park named for him at Jacksom Mill. Of course my family, parents, brother, sisters, nieces and nephew, sons and daughters) can't afford to go there because we are stupid rednecks.
