Game notes Bama vs A&M, plus my trip:(long)

I know it don't matter because Bama won, but what were your thoughts on all the bad calls by the ref's? the push out of bonds, the two in motion(which i couldnt see a second guy in motion) and the hoarse collar where JF had the face mask of the defender and should have been off setting to me.

anyway i thought it was was very poor by the refs.

I fear this crew will hurt if we get them again.

On the Saban Show last night, I saw another false start on Arie that was not called.  It was down close to the goal line on one of our rushing TDs.  They have got to get those false starts cleaned up.  Maybe they felt sorry for the guy.

On the two guys in motion, maybe he can clear up the rule for us when he checks in next time.  The other guy was the receiver to the bottom of the screen.  The slot receiver went in motion towards the top of the screen.  The other guy was moving his head and arms.  He looked at the ref and then back toward the center to see the snap, and he made a motion with his arm, perhaps to tell the ref whether he was supposed to be on the line or off the line.  Any way, that movement is what they called the penalty on.  Well... it was the ONLY other movement there was, so I assume that was the call.  Is the rule that everyone has to be absolutely frozen while the guy is in motion?

I thought the psuh out of bounds was questionable.  On two of the motion calls they one by the guard was a very small rock back by the guard.  The one with two men in motion/not set, all I could see was the rec getting his spot and leaned over a little bit more.  Probably not called most of the time.  The horse collar/ face mask, I think should be offsetting penalties.  I think facemask on the offensive player should be called like defensive players because they gain an advantage.

People keep mentioning the total yards:  Bama 658 and A&M 628.   Think about this Bama had and 161 to 121 yard advantage on returns.  Also they lost an offensive series because VS took it to the house.

Good points.  I think they had one extra possession than we did too.  Yep, I just looked it up, they had 12, we had 11.

That is also why I was hoping Bama would win the toss and take the ball.

Hello, I am back. World of medical problems since Sat Eve. I saw the samw calls everybody else did and they mademupset but I think in the end they seem to equal out.
Like hscosch said or somebody, we have our on problems to clean up. Too much motion letting the crowd get to them. Yes, it is a big game but so will everyone we play. We are Champions and we got play like champions play. The way we came back on Saturday is the start of a good team. We must hvediscipline. We won. RTR!

Watching the game again and I knew Bama had more penalties and I should have noticed this before, A&M got 4 first downs by penalty.  There are a few more things I notice that was not called on A&M.

I watched the game again last night.  It looked like the outside receiver might have picked his foot up.

But the 12th man in this game were the men in black and white. 

Keep an eye on this officiating crew -- the worst in the SEC in my opinion, but often seem to get the big games.
