Yeah, the "area" certainly is.  But my house sits atop a steep hill, and no worries here.  Those along creeks and rivers are most at risk.  Predictions of rain range between 1" and 5" for this event.  It'll last for days, and it could include severe storms.

Good morning folks.  Chech, please don't send that stuff my way. Send it north into the land of the toothless inbreds.  I hope you can weather the storm without any problems... 2, I hope you and the grandson enjoy the zoo and playing around with the golfball clubs... Maybe he will be a white Tiger Woods on the course...  Also hope Preacher is feeling better.  He needs to go down into Lee county and give that stuff away...

Yeah, I knew you were ok, was just curious about the area. San Antonio is in bad shape, and parts of Arkansas.

Yes, we got to and from the recital okay.  But the audience was pretty lacking; only about 40 people attended, whereas usually there are several hundred.  Too bad.

The RAIN CONTINUES.  We've had about 3" since yesterday morning, and LOTS yet to come.  Been a very rainy spring.

No baseball or softball yesterday.  Looks like golfball will be our only entertainment for a while.  The Houston Open is supposed to start today, but the course is soggy and may be flooded.  They cancelled the ProAm yesterday, and expect delays today.

Same here.  It was predicted to arrive by Monday night.  It finally arrived yesterday morning, and now it won't go away.  You can have it!

Good morning folks.  We finally got the rain over here around noon yesterday.  It rained until around 6:30 last night.  It wasn't ever really hard rain just a good steady soaker.  Looks like it is over with now though... Hope you all have a great day today and an even better weekend...

Good morning, both.   

NALT, glad you didn't get the kind of rain we got.  My rain gauge totaled 3.1" over 2 days.  That's a lot.

But today it'll be better; partly cloudy and slight chance of rain.  Sunny tomorrow.

Discovered yesterday that I have a tire losing air.  Close inspection showed a Phillips-screw head sticking out.  So today I need to find a pacle that repairs such.

Enjoy your holidays, guys.  I'm thinking about heading down to the beach again early next week.  It will be in the 70s along the coast.
