I fixed a cheese dip using JAMOS' 'ROOSTER FIRE' HOT SAUCE.  That stuff is TASTY.  Yummy good, and not too hot.
Thanks, J!
Mrs 2 has fixed taco soup. Will be pouring a dash or 2 of J's Rooster Hot Sauce in it.
 Tongue

I made the mistake of sharing with LF.
Now she's got the bottle; splashing it on her baked potato and cheese.
 Tongue Tongue Tongue

I think J's got more.  Cheesy

Not after my next visit!!

Good morning folks and good luck on Friday the 13th.   Shocked

I made it through most of Friday 13th, until my 12 year old son called me at 9 pm from the skating rink.

"Dad, you need to come get me and take me to a doctor."

"Um, what happened?"

"I got my finger stuck in the pool table; my fingernail is pulled off and it's bleeding everywhere."

Doesn't sound too serious, not ER serious.  But when I get there, I notice the reason his finger nail is off is because there is a finger bone pushing it out from below.  The bone has broken through the skin and pushed the nail out from the bottom.  I don't know how he managed to do that..  We go to the ER, and the doctor doesn't know how he did that.

There are torn ligaments, and the ER doctor is unable to push his finger tip bone back into place, so we had an orthopedic surgeon operate this morning.  There is a pin holding his finger bone in place, and he is spending another night at the hospital (with Bamarae) on antibiotics because of the bone breaking the skin.

Poor Bamarae was unable to watch the Bama game today because son was watching cartoons.  She followed the score in the In Game Thread.  So thanks to all who updated.

I will say that boy is one tough hombre.  Through it all he remained calm, shed not one tear, and never complained.  Even when the ER doctor tried to push the bone back into place, he didn't complain.  He did say, "it hurts a lot," in a conversational and informational tone, and I thought, "I bet it hurts like h*ll."

What a tough kid.  Tell him we're all proud of him; hope he signs with Bama some day!!

Prayers that it all heals fast!    Pray

Dang, CP! Tough kid, indeed. Hope everything completely heals for him. Glad Bamarae was able to keep up with the game through the forum. Unfortunately, I don't get to contribute as much because I always have a houseful of company, and Mrs 2 constantly reminds me that it is rude to post with them here. Plus, I have to respond to the texts from my youngest daughter and my friends. Drives Mrs 2 crazy.

Great game yesterday! Took us a while to get our legs under us, but when we finally did, we took control. Very proud of our D in the red zone. That was a great effort!

What a beautiful morning.  Alabama won convincingly, the Aubs lost, and there were plenty of entertaining late games last night.

Enjoy it, boys.  We're riding the crest!!  Coffee

Morning all. Coffee

Wow, what a day of college football yesterday.

CP, your son is a lot tougher than most. I hope the surgeon can make the proper repairs and the healing process goes well. Pray

Rooster Fire it is!! Chech and 2, glad all of you liked it so much. Yes I have more and I'll be sure your shelf is stocked again. I'll have to plant more peppers next year to make sure your shelves are plentiful stocked. Wink

Have a good day everyone and prayers for all.  Pray Cheesy

They are Jalepenos, I grow them until they turn red. We choose to use the red peppers over the green ones because the red looks better when bottled. This recipe for the peppers won a Blue Ribbon at the Montreal World's Fair many years ago. One of our members of the Roosters, senior Jaycees, met a gentleman that was part of the folks that made the original sauce that won the Blue Ribbon and the man gave him the recipe for it. The Roosters have been making this every Super Bowl Sunday up until last year. The strong odor of making the sauce would make some of them sickly so they chose to quit the annual routine. This year 4 of us decided that we would grow some peppers and make some more as we were running low on it. It's an all day job but we enjoy it as there are many lies and stories shared which we all have plenty of. After we finished the job this year, the four of us decided that we will do it again next year. We have never made the sauce to sell but to only eat it and share it with our friends.

I thought the peppers were Crimson because they were grown near Tuscaloosa.

They use red jalapenos in the nachos at Bryant Denny.

Jalapenos will turn red if left on the vine.

The Meltdown thread by RollBamaRoll should be good this week. The barners are having a very difficult time dealing with the UGA loss. I thought they would be accustomed to losing by now.
