Wishing Eli nothing but the very best...will miss him, as I have listened to his play by play on my ear buds at the games for years.

Come to find out that it wasn't Eli's decision to step down. The university decided not to renew his contract. WTH???

I may be in the minority, but I like Chris Stewart much better. Eli talks too much and says very little. Listening to him while you are watching a game is fine. If you have radio only, he does not do a good job of keeping you up to speed on down, distance, time, and score.

Chris Stewart is outstanding in basketball and baseball. He will do a great job with football.

I don't have a problem with Chris it just kind of makes me feel bad that the University would just drop him without a tour for one year. RTR!

Living in Florida, I haven't gotten to hear Eli much.  What I heard last season was a step back from what Eli used to add to a broadcast. To me, last season felt like Eli's farewell tour.  The broadcast team needs ONE voice for all the FB games.  Always a little sad when a change like this has to be made, but it was time to turn the page.

Also, very common for a new "voice" when a new HC comes in.

BINGO! Eli should have left 10 years ago. Chris Stewart is 5 times better than Eli. Stewart is informative, gives good insights into the game, can discuss players & the coach.
