-- Saban on D-line knocking down passes: Said some defensive linemen are leading ball disruptions, even ahead of some defensive backs. Film review of low passes is really eye-opening for players, Saban said, because of the number of balls that are possible to be batted down.

Amari Cooper: Saban said Cooper came to his summer camp before senior year. He was the "most impressive" to Saban because of his quickness, change of direction, speed, hands, hard worker. "I walked away from that camp saying this may be the best receiver we've had in these camps."
