Well, you can't win them all, Bobby Lee, but you were one of the greatest.

I hate to point out that he lost the only one that matters!

Well I should have said all battles. Of course, before he led Confederate troops, he fought for years for the U.S. military (and turned down an offer to lead them in the Civil War, which probably would have shortened the war). And he won most of his Confederate battles.

I thought he made lots of tactical mistakes, but maybe I'm just upset the North won.

Like invading Pennsylvania instead of establishing a defensive posture in Virginia?

Oh, if only Stonewall had not died!

Great military mind. Had he only had the resources of his opponents, it would have been a different outcome.

But he fought the war as if he had the same resources as the North. Big mistake.

Changing the subject ever so slightly, there are liberals that consider the Tea Party as the Civil War Resentment Party and have psych. theories to explain this.

Hit LIKE if you think we should shoot all liberals.

Why would anyone want to shoot someone? Having said that, why is politics being discussed here?

LOL. You had to read the article to get the reference. Politics is not being discussed but Civil War Resentment.

Not the best time to talk about gunning down people. Palen had the best idea about disarming. I read that Americans own 300 million guns.

I thought the "Hit 'LIKE'" part of that sentence would indicate it was made in jest (trying to be funny). I guess I underestimated the # of closet liberals on this board. But I never failed to understand that liberals never bother to read the views of others before they comment.

The point of posting the link had nothing to do with Palen or guns or the Tea party. I did not realize that people had a name for those still fighting the Civil War and a psychosis assigned to it. The comparison in the linked article went even further, comparing the modern day Tea Party to the "Lost Cause" and saying both were steeped in racism.
