That link got me to touchdownalabama.net but I don't know which article 2 was trying to show us.  Perhaps the "lovers" took it down?  :dunno:

Hmmm......I tried to revisit the link and apparently, it has been pulled. Cliff Notes: "We stacked for years to come".

That is a good read.  Thanks for posting it 57.  My concern reading it however was the thought of building expectations higher than they should be...Hopefully the team will be grounded and humble but still very, VERY hungry for one more SEC and National Championships... #+

#+ to the title of the article.  :D to what is going to happen this year one game at a time.  thank you for the build up to the season that makes us the poor old school with no QB.  :tinfoil: trying to see where we going to put all these future NC trophies. RTR!

Good stuff.

Lastly, while Alabama routinely places defensive backs in the NFL, it’s been a while since they’ve had lock down cornerbacks and a complete unit filled with experience and talent. Teams looking to beat the Tide even last season looked to do so by burning the defensive backs. Last season Alabama played two true freshmen. Minkah Fitzpatrick and Marlon Humphrey were baptized by fire early on, but by season’s end, these freshmen proved to be solid defenders. Eddie Jackson will be the vocal and on field leader of this group and the senior strong safety is exited to return for his senior year and lead this group. With Alabama signing a good crop of defensive backs this spring, names like four star Nigel Knott, four star Jared Mayden and four star Shyheim Carter could see the field this season giving Alabama more depth with this unit than ever before.

Man when you read this type of post it has to make you be ready for kickoff today. I feel great knowing next year we come in with tried and true DB's where is the offenses going to try us? Our D-line and LB's are going to really be tough. RTR!

Good stuff indeed.  But, I thought Marlon Humphrey was either a red-shirt freshman or possibly a sophomore...  ???
